INTO THE FUTURE

The devastation brought about by natural disasters in 2005 and subsequent years forced many families to emigrate towards less vulnerable regions. The exodus had an impact on the work of the Hilda Rothschild Foundation. In April 2011 we opted to relocate our programs in San Salvador, where we can serve children more effectively, and in larger numbers.

In 2011, we signed a a Collaborative Agreement with the Instituto Salvadoreño para el Desarrollo Integral de la Niñez y la Adolescencia (ISNA) that authorizes the Hilda Rothschild Foundation to introduce EDUCAMBIO/Montessori in child development centers within ISNA’s jurisdiction.

In January, 2012, our work in San Salvador began.
